Agroecology and feminism webinar a great success

The first in the series of AVACLIM webinars, organised by CAATINGA, Environmental Monitoring Group and CARI, this webinar on agroecology and feminism took place on Friday 12 August between 14:00 and 17:00 CEST.

Hosted by Laeticia Jalil, the webinar enabled three Brazilian women to share their views and experiences on the sometimes subtle but always powerful relationship between agroecology and feminism in the fight for a better life for all. The contributors were Elisabeth Cardoso, Fátima Santos and Irlania de Alencar.

Simultaneously translated into three languages – Portuguese, French and English – the webinar was attended by 75 people from all over the world!

And for those who weren’t able to attend, here’s a graphic report, produced by Priscila and Camila do Juremarte.
